Vetted Luxury connects travellers and customers with vetted homes and service providers across Africa and processes payments between them. It applies to our website, waitlist, apps, and related services.

Information you provide. When you join our waitlist, apply as a provider, create an account, or make a booking, we collect the details you share with us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, country, the services you are interested in or provide, and payment information.

Information collected automatically. We collect limited technical data, including device type, browser, IP address, and general location, to keep the service secure and reliable and to understand how our site is used.

Cookies and similar technologies. Our website uses cookies and similar tools for essential functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process bookings and payments and verify providers

  • Manage our waitlist and notify you about our launch, early access, and product updates

  • Respond to enquiries and provide customer support

  • Send service communications by email, and by WhatsApp or SMS where you have opted in

  • Prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and keep the platform secure

  • Improve and develop our products and services

  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Marketing communications

If you join our waitlist, we will send you updates about Vetted Luxury by email. If you tick the WhatsApp option, we will also contact you on WhatsApp. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, by replying STOP on WhatsApp, or by contacting us at info@vettedluxury.com.

Payments and providers

Payments are handled through our payment partners. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. When you book, we share only the details a provider needs to fulfil your request, such as your name and booking dates.

Sharing and disclosure

We share information with trusted service providers who help us operate Vetted Luxury, such as website hosting, form and database tools, customer relationship management, email and messaging platforms, payment processors, and analytics providers. These partners process data on our behalf, only on our instructions, and are bound to protect it.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.

International transfers

Vetted Luxury operates across multiple countries. Your information may be stored and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, Nigeria, and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred internationally.

Data retention and security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, you remain on our waitlist, or as needed to meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
